Several books, newspaper articles,
magazine reports and comments have been generated about Maria Felix throughout the years and decades, so to talk about
Maria Felix in a web site would be very difficult because everything has been already said about the greatest start of the
Mexican Cinema.
The main purpose of this site,
is to focus on showing images of Maria; beginning with her first photo shots in the early 1930's and following a chronological
order through the 47 films she made. Some of the images that are shown herein already have been published several times
in books, magazines, newspapers and websites, and a very few never been published.
DeGyves Productions counts in its
archives with 235 original photographs and over 450 original negatives. The majority of the photographs in
our archives have never been seen by the public. We are in the process of putting the final touches in the publication
of a magnificent book of photographs never seen before. This book will be published this year in a very low number
to conmemorate Maria's 95 brithday. It is intended and wished to revive those cinema moments, those poses, those looks, that
personality and beauty that she left behind for future generations to admire.
